Answers about searching, applying, licensing and what happens after you apply.
Searching for jobs
How do I search for jobs?
Use the search bar: type a job title, keyword or job ID, add a city, state or ZIP code if you like, then select Search Jobs.
Can I browse without searching?
Yes. Browse jobs by role on the role pages, or by state from the locations page.
What is the job ID on each listing?
Every job has its own ID, for example 26-30629. Quote it when you contact us about a specific role so we can find it straight away.
Applying
How do I apply for a job?
Open the job you are interested in and use the apply option on its page.
Can I apply for more than one job?
Yes. Apply to each job that matches your license and experience.
What should I have ready before applying?
Your license details, your recent work history and, if you have one, an up-to-date resume.
Licensing
Which license do I need?
Each job lists the license it needs. RN roles need an RN license for the state where you will work, or a multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact state where the work state is also a member.
Can I apply if I am licensed in another state?
Yes. Mention your license state in your application. If the job is in a state that is not a compact member, you will need that state’s license before you start.
What is the difference between an LPN and an LVN?
The role is the same. California and Texas use the title Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN); other states use Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
