Departments: Cardiology Cath Services
Day with call shifts (minimum 10 per month)
Cath lab nurse, monitor patient, circulate room, 10 days of call per month including 2 weekend (Fri, Sat, and Sunday)
Days – 8 HR – 7:30am – 4:00pm
Job Description:

• This job acts as a leader in the provision of patient care using the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses and Product & Standards of Practice.
• Effectively delegates, directs, and assists licensed and ancillary team members; assumes accountability for quality patient outcomes; exhibits sensitivity to cultural, ethnic and religious diversity in all interactions; maintains involvement in activities aimed toward the achievement of unit and the department’s strategic goals and objectives and demonstrates professional responsibility and accountability for his/her own practice and supports the company’s philosophy of nursing.

Education

• Required – Registered nurse diploma.
• Preferred – Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Experience & Certificate Requirement:

• 2 Years of Cath Lab RN Experience
• BLS – AHA
• ACLS – AHA
