Job Title: Nurse Manager Psych

Location: Harahan, LA 70123

Duration: 13 weeks contract

Schedule: DAYS – 12HR (M-F and EOW)

Summary:

The Nurse Manager Psych is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a behavioral health facility, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to adult and adolescent patients. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and support a team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the behavioral health unit.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality care to adult and adolescent patients.
• Manage and support a team of healthcare professionals.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes.

Required Skills:

• 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• 2 years of experience in a Behavioral Health (BH) facility, specifically in acute inpatient settings.
• Previous experience as a Nurse Manager is required.
• Ability to float between adult and adolescent units.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Certifications & Licenses:

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing (preferred).
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
