Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – OR
Location: Neptune, NJ
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM. Every Other Weekend Required. Holidays Required as Needed. On-Call Requirement: After 90 days. Float Requirement: To ASC as needed.
Pay Range: $55/HR TO $60/HR ON W2
Duties:
Job Summary:
- Primarily responsible for applying the nursing process to the care of veteran patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room.
- This includes, but is not limited to, assuring that appropriate documentation reflects assessment of patient needs, interdisciplinary treatment plans, clinical intervention, and evaluation of patients’ responses to treatments.
- Also responsible for assigning and evaluating the work of non-nursing direct care providers assigned to the operating room.
Requirements:
- Minimum qualifications required for services:
- Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
- Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
- Must have level I Trauma Experience
- Scrub is a plus.
- Must do endovascular, spine, neuro, Ortho, Ortho trauma.
- BLS Certification
- NJ or Compact State RN license.
