Job Title: RN Outpatient Clinic
Location: San Diego, CA 92120
Duration: 3 Months (Possible Extension)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rates
- Local: $60–$70/hour (W2)
- Travel: $2,000–$2,700 Gross Weekly
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care in an outpatient clinical setting.
- Assess, monitor, and document patient health status accurately.
- Administer medications, injections, immunizations, and treatments as ordered.
- Assist physicians and advanced practice providers during examinations and procedures.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care.
- Coordinate patient care, referrals, follow-up appointments, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) documentation.
- Adhere to infection control, patient safety, and regulatory guidelines.
- Respond appropriately to patient concerns and changes in condition.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum 1 year of recent Outpatient Clinic or Ambulatory Care RN experience (preferred).
- Current BLS Certification (AHA required).
- Strong assessment, communication, and patient education skills.
- Experience with EMR systems preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
