Job Title: RN – Case Manager
Job Location: Atlanta, GA 30305
Job Duration: 13 Weeks (Possibility of Extension)
Shift Options: Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay:
Travel Pay : $3058/weekly
Local Pay: $70/hr on W2
Job Summary:
- Performs utilization review to ensure appropriate level of care, medical necessity, and compliance with payer and regulatory guidelines.
- Conducts concurrent and retrospective reviews of patient records.
- Collaborates with physicians, case managers, and interdisciplinary teams to facilitate efficient patient care and discharge planning.
- Coordinates discharge planning and ensures timely transitions of care.
- Communicates with insurance providers regarding authorizations and continued stay reviews.
- Documents reviews, care coordination activities, and outcomes in the electronic medical record.
- Maintains compliance with hospital policies, CMS regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum one (1) year of recent Utilization Review (UR) experience.
- Experience with case management and discharge planning.
- Experience using ClientG and Epic EMR.
- BLS (AHA) – Required.
